Funny Friday – Doorbells

Posted in Laughs for Ladies on July 22nd, 2010 by redkathy – 2 Comments

The woman was so cheap . . .  When someone rang her doorbell, her kids had to yell, ding dong!

Never knock on Death’s door; ring the doorbell and run… he hates that  ;-)

And the #1 funny friday laughs for ladiesFunny Friday doorbell joke….

A woman had been married so many times she was totally fed up. You see all the men she married either ran away, physically abused her, or the men were terrible in bed.  The woman was wealthy and lonely so she posted an ad outlining her requirements. What she wanted was a man who:

1) must not run away.

2) must not beat her up.

3) must be good in bed.

For several months, her phone rang off the hook, her doorbell was chiming constantly, she received tons of mail, etc., all to no avail. None of the men seemed to meet her qualifications. Then one day she heard the door chimes again and upon opening the door, she saw a man in a wheel chair with no arms and no legs. “Hello, I’m here responding to the ad,” he began. She replied, “How do you fit the requirements?” He said, “I have no legs so I can’t run away, I have no arms to beat you.” The lonely woman asked, “Are you good in bed?” The man said, “I rang the doorbell, didn’t I?”

OK maybe that’s an old corny joke but you gotta admit the grandma pic is hilarious!

Sand Ceremony

Pouring of Sand

Non-traditional weddings are quite common these days. With the uncertainty of the financial system, scores of couples have turned to more prudent, creative ways to enhance their wedding day. In fact, we attended two weddings this month, both somewhat non-traditional. While the lifestyles of each couple are quite different, the creativity of the ceremonies articulated love and commitment far greater than a traditional wedding ceremony.

Held at home, the first wedding was a beautiful outdoor poolside wedding. The theme was a Hawaiian Luau. The bride and groom, aka mommy and daddy, shared in the pouring of colored sand with the children, symbolizing family union.

Nascar executives help fulfill dying husband’s dream

Good will still exists and Nascar officials are an exemplary representation of benevolence. This woman in Idaho unselfishly attempted to win a contest in order to fulfill her dying husband’s dream of attending a Nascar race. When her boss and colleagues heard what was happening, well they offered support. Her boss sent an email to every Nascar contact he could find not expecting a response. Lo and behold, the Senior Vice president replied with a positive response, “Your decision to help can make a difference on many levels. So, I will help too.”

Watch the video to find out the whole story. Get ready as it is one of those emotional clips.

INSTALLING A HUSBAND

old-ladies INSTALLING A HUSBAND

Dear Tech Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under
Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs,
such as

.. Romance 9.5 and
.. Personal Attention 6.5,

and then installed undesirable programs such as

.. NBA 5.0,
.. NFL 3.0 and
.. Golf Clubs 4.1.

Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system.

.. Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

Signed,

Desperate.
