International calling to over 60 destinations cost the same as local calls, unbelievable right. Wait, there’s more. The International Neighbors program provides family and friends in Mexico or Canada a local phone number in those countries to reach your TracFone in the U.S.
Phones
While blackberry phones are not available, TracFone offers cell phones from top manufacturers like Motorola, Kyocera, LG, Nokia, and Samsung. Phone styles vary from simple text and call phones for about 10.00 to blue tooth enabled smart phones. As with other cell phones, features such as cameras, video recorders, mp3 players, and full QWERTY keyboards are readily available.
Flexibility, style, and most importantly affordability, the TracFone is a fine solution for parents who need temporary communications and those on a tight, unstable budget.
Tracfone not only offers the cheapest cell phones I’ve discovered, I’ve been using their Family value plan that only costs us $27.96/month for the 4 of us. We haven’t had a problem with coverage over the weekends when we go hiking and traveling in the country, I suggest you give this value for money plan a try.
