Parents looking for an inexpensive alternative to a monthly cell phone bill will find the answer with TracFone. One of the least expensive cell phones in America, TracFone requires no contracts, credit checks, activation, and/or cancelation fees. The TracFone is ideal for keeping in touch with kids during the summer months. Why? The pay as you go feature makes it economical while no contract keeps it temporary.

Minutes can be purchased online or via calling cards through numerous retailers across the country. Customers expressed much displeasure concerning added fees associated with competitor’s monthly cell phone plans. This is just not so with the TracFone and customer testimony verifies as such.

A friend who traveled around the country working told me he enjoyed the freedom from a monthly bill. As his work allowed he would add time to his phone. Combine financial flexibility with the ability to purchase airtime cards from 80,000 retailers and you will agree the TracFone was the perfect solution for his gypsy lifestyle!

Plans

TracFone offers several money saving alternatives. To keep service active, add either an airtime card or a no contract monthly plan. A 1-year service card with double minutes for the life of the TracFone, and 800 minutes, costs only $119.00. “Double minutes for the life of your phone” is a feature that can be purchased separately for just $19.99; however, certain phones do include this bonus! Monthly plans are also available with 200 minutes for under $30.00, and as low as $9.99 for 50 minutes.

International calling to over 60 destinations cost the same as local calls, unbelievable right. Wait, there’s more. The International Neighbors program provides family and friends in Mexico or Canada a local phone number in those countries to reach your TracFone in the U.S.

Phones

While blackberry phones are not available, TracFone offers cell phones from top manufacturers like Motorola, Kyocera, LG, Nokia, and Samsung. Phone styles vary from simple text and call phones for about 10.00 to blue tooth enabled smart phones. As with other cell phones, features such as cameras, video recorders, mp3 players, and full QWERTY keyboards are readily available.

Flexibility, style, and most importantly affordability, the TracFone is a fine solution for parents who need temporary communications and those on a tight, unstable budget.
