It became obvious Pear Tree Greetings has much experience and applied it to their greeting card products. I received a sample package of holiday and party invitations for review. Expecting a thin, somewhat pliable card stock paper, I was quite impressed to find all of the card stock was 100 lb. high quality matte stock, regardless of the design. Additionally, the card stock is 100% post-consumer recycled. The sample package contained various fold samples including no fold post cards, a single top fold card, a long side fold that was just darling, and a tri-fold pull down style.

The Christmas cards and invitations included patterns of plaids or stripes in warm comfortable hues of reds and greens. The colors and patterns were very different from the common Holiday designs. Examples with photos of both color and black and white shots showed how different patterns and designs create the perfect “uniquely you” card.

One of the things I like most about the Christmas cards was this post card. The finish was a low gloss, sort of like a matte finish with sheen to it. The design was great. I love the idea of the back being used for two individual photos. Of course, additional text can be placed here as well.
