After thirty years, the Italian natural cosmetics line Bottega Verde is available in the United States. The Bottega Verde story goes something like this. It was founded in Pienza, Italy a small Tuscan town amid Florence and Siena, known for its natural, artistic, and cultural heritage.
In 1972, a small herbalist shop cultivated a passion for artisans to produce and sell high-quality cosmetics based on natural active ingredients. Nestled amongst hills, vineyards, and wheat fields, Bottega Verde was born.
The all natural Fioriti line I found to be most interesting. The word intrigued me and upon translation, I learned Fioriti is a form of the adjective Fiorito, an adjective meaning flowering, abloom, or blooming. Bottega Verde affirms the Fioriti line a host of new and seductive scents combined with effective results. In all there are ten new and seductive Italian scents comprised of body milks, foams, and gels.
The Bv Musk, labeled Natural Seduction, really impressed me. Available in a bar soap, milk bath, and bath/shower gel, the aroma is described as a discreet, sensual aroma that stimulates your senses to bring you natural charm and mental energy. Can you imagine the aroma?
The bath and shower gels are my choice for daily use. This one is recommended for normal and delicate skin, a must for fair skinned women. The individual product description described the aroma more specifically as fresh, floral, and musky. Yes, I do believe I would totally enjoy this body wash.
