This post brought to you by Lenovo. All opinions are 100% mine.
Working on a laptop presents a few drawbacks for a midlife woman. Adjusting to view and work with a small screen is difficult. It is especially tough to read multiple screens of text on the fly. Blogs, documents, and OMG those spreadsheets are really a difficult task! I can only imagine the simplicity and relief the Lenovo ThinkVision LT 1421A mobile monitor might create.
ThinkVision LT1421 is an affordable solution for those who require a larger viewing screen or multiple views. The LCD screen is larger than the ThinkPad x201 laptop screen and still VERY portable. Business professionals claim the thin, no nonsense features increase productivity by at 20%.
The mobile monitor weighs less than 2 pounds, effortlessly connects via USB 2.0, has a photo frame stand, and comes with a standard case. The sleek and study black design mirrors the ThinkPad family. Spontaneous presentations are easily accomplished without a projector and meetings can be held almost anywhere with this mobile monitor. Combined with a solution for multitasking on the go, this sounds like a tool I could really use. I wish they had sent me one to test. ** sigh **

Anyway, I did a quantity of research on this mobile monitor. CNET reviews claim the monitor is displays 262,000 colors and runs video just fine. However, the USB 2.0 technology limits the speed of data transfer. With that, I would say this monitor is not for the gamers and movie lovers’ crowd. In contrast, this is a very beneficial tool for the traveling business professional or a midlife woman like me!
Cnet concludes, “The ThinkVision is an acceptable accessory if you need extra screen real estate on the go. Just don’t expect flawless imagery. ”
The Lenovo ThinkVision LCD mobile monitor is affordable, at just under $200.00. What’s more, now through March 31 a 10% discount is available with the Code: LENOVOMONITOR10, Part # 1452DS6. I need to move this one to the top of my tech tool list!
Do you use a mobile monitor? Have experience with Lenovo products? Please do share!
